Michelle Bookout, DNP, MSN, has been appointed chief nursing officer of Las Vegas-based Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center and Sunrise Children's Hospital, part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare.
Dr. Bookout, who brings more than 25 years of leadership experience to the role, previously held CNO roles for MountainView Hospital in Las Vegas and Mercy Hospital in Miami, a Jan. 4 news release shared with Becker's said.
She is a member of the Nevada Nurses Association board of directors and the Nevada Hospital Association.
