HCA names new chief ethics and compliance officer

Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare has named Wendy Warren senior vice president and chief ethics and compliance officer, effective March 3.

Ms. Warren will succeed Kathi Whalen, who is retiring after 27 years at HCA, according to a Dec. 20 health system news release.

In her new role, Ms. Warren will lead HCA’s ethics, compliance and regulatory department to ensure the system’s code of conduct standards while supporting the employees delivering care. 

Ms. Warren previously served as associate general counsel and vice president of payer contracting and alignment for HCA and for Parallon, a subsidiary of the health system.
