HCA Midwest names Dr. Vikesh Tahiliani CMIO

Vikesh Tahiliani, MD, has been with Hospital Corporation of America since 2009. Now he has been named the CMIO of HCA Midwest Health, based in Kansas City, Mo., according to a Kansas City Business Journal report.

Dr. Tahiliani joined HCA in 2009 as division medical director of Midwest Physician Hospitalists at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, Mo., and Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Mo.

As CMIO, he is charged with leading HCA Midwest’s IT initiatives.

Dr. Tahiliani has previous experience serving as a physician executive with Cerner.
