Dr. Carr brings two decades of healthcare experience to the role, according to a news release shared with Becker’s July 11.
Most recently, she worked in leadership roles at Children’s Mercy Kansas City (Mo.), where she was director of nursing within perioperative services.
In her new role, Dr. Carr fills the position previously held by Angel Monroy, MSN, RN, who was named chief nursing officer at Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park, Kan., according to the release.
HCA Midwest Health, based in Overland Park, consists of 150 locations including hospitals, emergency rooms, physician offices, urgent care centers, surgery centers and specialty physician practices, according to its website.
