Mr. Armendariz has served as COO of HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake in Webster, Texas, since 2020, according to a Dec. 16 health system news release shared with Becker’s. He has also served as interim CEO of HCA Houston Healthcare Mainland, a campus of Clear Lake, since April.
During his leadership at Clear Lake, the hospital secured approval for a campus expansion plan with more than $100 million in capital improvements, the release said.
Mr. Armendariz joined Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare in 2016 as senior vice president of operations for Methodist Hospital and Methodist Children’s Hospital in San Antonio.
HCA Houston Healthcare Pearland is a 49-bed acute care hospital, according to its website.
