Dr. Pinto began his career in hospital medicine in 2013 as the hospitalist medical director at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, Texas.
He joins Tomball from St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center in Austin, Texas, where he served as chairman of the department of medicine and the medical executive council. During his tenure, he played an instrumental role in establishing the organization’s hospital medicine program.
Dr. Pinto also served as hospice medical director for Louisville, Ky..-based Kindred Hospice in Austin and Georgetown, Texas, the news release said.
