HCA Houston Healthcare hospital taps new CFO

Francis Tezanos was named CFO of HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball (Texas) on Jan. 12, according to a news release shared with Becker’s.

The 350-bed hospital is part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare.

In his new role, Mr. Texanos will oversee all financial operations at the hospital, including budgeting, financial performance, revenue cycle management and strategic planning.

Prior to his new role, Mr. Texanos served as interim CFO of HCA Houston Healthcare Medical Center. He also served as associate CFO of HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood (Texas).

“[Mr. Tezanos’] extensive knowledge and proven leadership in healthcare financial management will be a tremendous asset to our hospital and executive team,” Robert Marmerstein, CEO of HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball, said in the release. “We are proud to partner with him as we continue to strengthen our organization and positively impact the communities we serve.”
