Mr. Gerhold assumed the helm of the 221-bed hospital in Sanford, Fla., on Dec. 4, according to a news release shared with Becker’s. He has held various leadership roles within Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare over his 25 year-career, most recently serving as chief operating officer of HCA Florida North Florida Hospital in Gainesville.
