HCA-HealthOne Names Richard Hammett CEO of The Medical Center of Aurora in Colorado

Denver-based HCA-HealthOne has named Richard Hammett as CEO of The Medical Center of Aurora (Colo.) and Centennial Medical Plaza, effective Aug. 1.

Mr. Hammett currently serves as COO of St. David’s Medical Center in Austin, Texas. He has held this position since 2007. Prior to that, he served as the senior vice president for strategic planning and development of HCA’s Central and West Texas division in Austin, which operates eight acute-care hospitals, including six in the St. David’s HealthCare system.
