HCA Georgia hospital names VP of operations

Vidalia, Ga.-based Memorial Health Meadows Hospital, part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare, has named Abby Bray vice president of operations. 

Ms. Bray joins the hospital from the HCA South Atlantic Division, where she served as director of strategy and business development, according to a Jan. 30 news release. In that role, she supported strategic planning and analytics efforts across 12 hospitals in Georgia, South Carolina and Florida. Her work included market analysis, service line growth planning, and securing funding for freestanding emergency departments and major capital initiatives.

“Abby brings a strong operational mindset paired with strategic vision,” Memorial Health Meadows Hospital CEO W. Wesley Taylor said in the release. “Her experience working across complex healthcare systems, combined with her collaborative leadership style, will be an asset as we continue to strengthen operations and expand access to care for our community.” 

Ms. Bray began her new role Feb. 2.
