HCA Florida hospital taps chief nursing officer

HCA Florida Lake City Hospital appointed Krista Hatley, BSN, RN, chief nursing officer. 

Ms. Hatley will oversee all nursing units at the 141-bed medical-surgical acute care hospital and its affiliated freestanding emergency department, Live Oak-based HCA Florida Suwannee Emergency, according to an April 22 system news release.

Ms. Hatley first joined the system in August 2017 as director of the NICU and most recently served as assistant chief nursing officer at Gainesville-based HCA Florida North Florida Hospital.

She stepped into her new role as CNO on April 21.
