HCA Florida hospital promotes CFO to CEO

HCA Florida Highlands Hospital in Sebring, Fla., has named Henry Capote as CEO, effective April 13.

Mr. Capote most recently served as CFO of HCA Florida Highlands Hospital, according to an April 13 hospital news release shared with Becker’s. He has more than 20 years of healthcare finance and leadership experience.

Prior to joining the hospital, he served as CFO at Coral Gables (Fla.) Hospital, where he supported development of a freestanding emergency department, expansion of robotic-assisted surgery capabilities and financial growth, the release said.

HCA Florida Highlands Hospital is a 126-bed acute care facility.
