HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital has named Olivia Velasquez as COO.
Ms. Velasquez most recently served as vice president of operations and ethics and compliance officer at TriStar Summit Medical Center in Hermitage, Tenn., according to a March 30 HCA Florida news release. In that role, she oversaw multiple clinical and ancillary departments, managed capital projects and led regulatory surveys.
She previously served as associate administrator at TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center in Tennessee, where she led several departments and managed growth and performance initiatives.
HCA Florida, TriStar Summit and TriStar Hendersonville are part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare.
