Joseph Gleason has been named CEO of HCA Florida University Hospital in Davie, effective June 1.
Mr. Gleason has held roles within Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare for more than 20 years. He most recently served as CEO of Highlands Regional Medical Center in Sebring, Fla., according to a June 5 HCA Florida Healthcare news release shared with Becker’s.
In his new role, he will lead the 165-bed hospital, its affiliated urgent care centers and freestanding emergency room, HCA Florida City Center, which will open soon in Pembroke Pines, the release said.
