Gundersen Tri-County Hospital and Clinics CEO Brian Theiler to retire

Whitehall, Wis.-based Gundersen Tri-County Hospital and Clinics CEO Brian Theiler announced his retirement plans, according to a Winona Daily News report. He will retire on Dec. 31, 2016, ending a 32-year career with La Crosse, Wis.-based Gundersen Health System.

Before serving as Gundersen Tri-County Hospital and Clinics CEO, Mr. Theiler served in a number of roles with Gunderson Behavioral health, including an inpatient psychiatric social worker and director of teen health services.

“The past nine years as CEO of Gundersen Tri County have been the toughest but the most rewarding opportunity I have had,” Mr. Theiler said, according to the report. “Changing a culture and connecting with our communities has been wonderful journey. None of this was accomplished as an individual. It was a team effort.”
