Previously, Mr. Allen served as CFO of Winona (Minn.) Health for the past 12 years. He also served as CFO and chief compliance officer of Gibson Area Hospital & Health Services in Gibson City, Ill. Mr. Allen also has been heavily involved with the Healthcare Financial Management Association, serving as a board member during the 2012-13 term and as chair of the group’s National Board of Examiners.
Mr. Allen replaces Gordon Edwards. A memo from Gundersen did not state Mr. Edwards’ next pursuits.
