GPH adds senior VP of development: 4 things to know

Great Plains Health in North Platte, Neb., has appointed Ivan Mitchell senior vice president of development.

Here are four things to know about Mr. Mitchell.

1. He is certified as a radiology administrator, nursing home administrator, nuclear medicine technologist and also certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

2. Prior to Great Plains Health, Mr. Mitchell was CEO of Towner County Medical Center in Cando, N.D., administrative director at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, Ark., and radiology and cardiology service manager at Intermountain Park City (Utah) Medical Center.

3. In his new role, he will be responsible for leading outreach and special projects aimed at advancing the growth and strategic direction of Great Plains Health, officials said.

4. Mr. Mitchell earned a bachelor's degree in nuclear medicine from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah, and a dual master's degree in public administration and healthcare administration from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.
