Georgia Health System Names Interim CEO

MCG Health, the parent company of the Medical College of Georgia Hospital and Clinics, has named Sandra I. McVicker as its interim CEO, according to a report by the Augusta Chronicle.

Ms. McVicker currently serves as the system’s senior vice president of patient care services and chief nursing officer. She will replace Don Snell, who resigned last week.

Ms. McVicker expects to hold the interim position for six to nine months until a new permanent replacement is determined, according to the report.
