Georgia health system CFO retiring, successor named

Thomasville, Ga.-based Archbold has named Loren Rials senior vice president and CFO.

Mr. Rials will begin his new role in August, succeeding Greg Hembree, who is retiring after serving in the role since 2017, according to a July 22 Archbold news release. 

Mr. Rials is joining Archbold from Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Health, where he served as CFO of its eastern division since October 2023, according to his LinkedIn page. In that role, he oversaw financial operations for LifePoint’s acute care facilities in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Virginia and North Carolina.  

He also previously served as health system controller for Charleston, S.C.-based MUSC Health.
