William Grogan has been named CFO of GE HealthCare, effective Sept. 14.
Mr. Grogan succeeds Jay Saccaro, who stepped down for an expanded role outside of the medical technology industry, according to an Aug. 18 news release.
GE HealthCare’s interim CFO, George Newcomb, will maintain his role as controller and chief accounting officer.
Prior to his new role, Mr. Grogan served as executive vice president and CFO of Xylem, a global water solutions company, since 2023. He also spent more than a decade at IDEX Corp., a global engineered products company, serving as senior vice president and CFO from 2017 to 2023.
“I am excited that Bill will serve as our CFO and help lead our next chapter of growth,” Peter Arduini, president and CEO, GE HealthCare, said in the release. “He combines strong financial leadership with an operator’s mindset, grounded in lean business systems and a clear focus on execution. Bill’s capabilities will augment our strong leadership team as we advance our precision care strategy and create long-term value for our colleagues, patients, customers, and shareholders.”
