GE Healthcare names new chief digital officer, head of GE Healthcare IT

GE Healthcare has appointed Charles Koontz as the president and CEO of GE Healthcare IT, as well as the chief digital officer of GE Healthcare.

He is succeeding Jan De Witte, who is leaving the company. Prior to joining GE, Mr. Koontz was the executive vice president of the federal civilian agencies group at Computer Sciences Corp.

Mr. Koontz’s appointment is effective March 14.
