Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center names new CFO: 5 things to know

Seattle-based Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center selected David H. Browdy to serve as vice president and CFO, effective Aug. 1.

Here are five things to know:

1. Mr. Browdy most recently served as Salt Lake City-based University of Utah’s associate vice president and CFO for health sciences.

2. While there, he oversaw financial operations for University of Utah’s hospitals and clinics, medical group, health insurance plans as well as medical, nursing, pharmacy, health and dentistry schools.

3. Prior to that, he worked at Chicago-based Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine, serving in several leadership roles.

4. In 2016, he received the Distinguished Service Award from the Association for American Medical Colleges Group on Institutional Planning.

5. Mr. Browdy succeeds Randy Main, who is retiring June 30.
