Former HCA vice president becomes CNO at 2 Kentucky hospitals

Ephraim McDowell Health chose Tonya Goodin, MSN, RN to lead two of the Danville, Ky.-based system’s hospitals as chief nursing officer, according to a news release.

Effective March 27, Ms. Goodin serves as CNO for Ephraim’s Fort Logan Hospital in Stanford, Ky., and James B. Haggin Hospital in Harrodsburg, Ky. Before entering the new role, she was the nurse executive and vice president of quality at HCA Healthcare’s Frankfort (Ky.) Regional Medical Center. 

Ms. Goodin worked for about six years at the HCA medical center, and before then, she served at another Ephraim hospital, according to her LinkedIn and the release.
