“One thing that makes Kim unique is she recognizes that each community of people may have different health needs, including the black community having a higher rate of diabetes, transgender men having lower rates of cervical and breast cancer screenings, and a higher rate of suicide among military veterans,” the news release said. “She will take all these factors into account to create an inclusive healthcare setting that connects with patients and their specific situations.”
