Floyd Memorial Hospital CEO Mark Shugarman resigns

Mark Shugarman, president and CEO of Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, Ind., is resigning to take a new position at Shriner’s Hospital for Children in Cincinnati, according to a recent report.

Mr. Shugarman joined Floyd Memorial Hospital in March 2008.

According to the report, Dan Fairley, partner at Leadership Vision, an Indianapolis company that provides services to improve organizational and leadership success, has been appointed interim president and CEO, effective Dec. 29. Mr. Fairley has more than 20 years of leadership development and executive succession planning experience.
