Florida’s Jupiter Medical Center Names New CEO

Jupiter (Fla.) Medical Center has named John D. Couris as its new CEO, according to a news release by the hospital.

Mr. Couris, currently COO and administrator at Morton Plant North Bay Hospital in Tampa, Fla., will join Jupiter in mid-June.

He replaces Paul Dell Uomo, who resigned in Nov. 2009. Mr. Couris has 17 years of experience in healthcare leadership, including seven at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
