Florida’s Lakeland Regional Medical Center Names President

Lakeland (Fla.) Regional Medical Center has named Elaine Thompson president, according to a report by The Ledger.

Ms. Thompson succeeds Jack Stephens, who has served as Lakeland Regional’s president and CEO for 26 years. Both executives will be at LRMC for a week to complete the transition, and after that, Mr. Stephens said he will be available as needed, according to the report.

Ms. Thompson comes to LRMC from 350-bed Lankenau Hospital in Wynnewood, Pa., where she served as president. She was also president of the Lankeanu Hospital Foundation.
