Florida’s Community Hospital Names CEO

Community Hospital in New Port Richley, Fla., has named Leigh Massengill CEO, according to a Tampa Bay Business Journal report.

Ms. Massengill replaces Kathryn Gillette, who was promoted to CEO of Osceola Regional Medical Center in Kissimmee, Fla. Ms. Massengill has 30 years of hospital administration experience and most recently served as COO at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point, a position she has held since 2006.

Her appointment as CEO of Community Hospital, which is part of the west Florida division of HCA, was effective Monday.
