Florida’s BayCare Health System Names CIO

BayCare Health System in Tampa Bay, Fla., has named Tim Thompson CIO, effective Sept. 7, according to a system news release.

Mr. Thompson most recently served as CIO and senior vice president of Methodist Hospital System in Houston. He also served as CIO and senior vice president of Adventist Health System in Orlando, Fla., and Palmetto Health in Columbia, S.C.

Mr. Thompson will succeed Lindsey Jarrell, who plans to return to consulting.
