1. She has served as president of the Florida Hospital Waterman Foundation since 1996 and has been a member of the hospital’s executive team for the past two years.
2. Among her most notable accomplishments are spearheading the raising of $3.1 million to help build the Florida Hospital Waterman Cancer Institute and $5 million to build the Florida Hospital Waterman Heart Center, according to the report.
3. Ms. Young earned a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Central Florida, based in Orlando.
