Florida hospital taps VP of development

Allison Baker was named vice president of development for Miami-based Nicklaus Children’s Health System and president of the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Foundation.

Ms. Baker recently served as executive director of development for women’s and children’s health at Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins University, where she raised over $300 million last year. She previously worked at the Bon Secours of Maryland Foundation, Baltimore International College and the American Foundation of Urologic Disease, according to a Nov. 27 Nicklaus press release.

She stepped into her new role Nov. 13.
