Florida hospital taps president

Jacksonville, Fla.-based Baptist Health has named Ed Hubel president of Baptist Medical Center Clay, its newest hospital.

Mr. Hubel has served as interim president of the Fleming Island, Fla.-based hospital since June, in addition to his responsibilities as president of Fernandina Beach, Fla.-based Baptist Medical Center Nassau — which he has led since 2016, according to a Dec. 8 news release from the health system. 

Mr. Hubel will assume the permanent helm at Baptist Clay on Dec. 18. Matthew Zuino, executive vice president and chief operating officer at Baptist Health, will serve as interim president at Baptist Nassau until a permanent successor is named.
