Dr. Hurwitz will succeed Sarah Temple, MD, whose one-year term is ending, according to an Oct. 31 news release from Sarasota (Fla.) Memorial Health Care System.
Sarasota Memorial is the system’s 897-bed flagship facility.
Scott Perrin, MD, will begin the second year of his two-year term as chief of staff at Sarasota Memorial Hospital-Venice in North Venice, Fla., the release said.
