Ms. Baum previously served as administrator at Leesburg.

Her newly created position results from a restructuring effort by Central Florida Health Alliance, the health system which operates the hospital. Prior to the restructuring, each hospital within the system was led by an administrator.

The system also named Tim Hawkins as CEO at its The Villages facility.
