Florida Hospital DeLand Names Hector DeJesus COO

Florida Hospital DeLand has appointed Hector DeJesus vice president and COO.

Mr. DeJesus is taking over duties for Randy Surber, who stepped down last October to become CEO of Florida Hospital Zephyrhills.

Most recently, Mr. DeJesus was patient safety officer at Florida Hospital Altamonte. He is also a registered nurse and an attorney. Mr. DeJesus is currently pursuing an MBA from Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, Tenn.
