Florida-based University Hospital & Medical Center names Ben Harris CEO

University Hospital & Medical Center in Tamarac, Fla., selected Ben Harris as CEO, according to South Florida Hospital News and Healthcare Report.

Mr. Harris, who assumed the role Nov. 4, was previously COO at Medical City Las Colinas in Irving, Texas. He has also served as vice president of business development for Medical City Plano (Texas).

He holds an MBA from Dallas Baptist University.
