FirstHealth of the Carolinas has appointed Christy Land, MSN, RN, president of the Pinehurst, N.C.-based network's southern region, effective Feb. 21. She will also serve as administrator of FirstHealth's Moore Regional Hospital-Richmond.
Ms. Land currently serves as the administrative director of clinical performance at MRH-Richmond, and she previously oversaw the hospital's intensive care unit for five years, a news release said.
"We are proud of Christy's many successes at MRH-Richmond over the years and look forward to her continued contributions in her new role," said Jonathan Davis, COO for FirstHealth of the Carolinas.
In the first quarter of 2021, the health system's revenue rebounded to near historical levels, resulting in an "AA" from Fitch Ratings for its strong financial profile, despite disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
