Family Health West hospital CEO Mark Francis to retire

Mark J. Francis, president and CEO of Fruita, Colo.-based Family Health West Hospital, plans to retire in September, according to The Daily Sentinel.

Mr. Francis assumed his current role in 2012. Prior to that, he was a consultant for the hospital, helping with the design and construction of the Colorado Canyons Hospital and Medical Center in Fruita. He is a former president and CEO of Community Hospital in Grand Junction, Colo.

During his tenure, Mr. Francis led other capital projects, including a nine-bed expansion in 2017 and the current building of a 20,000-square-foot medical center.

Korrey Klein, MD, the hospital’s vice president of medical services and CMO, will succeed Mr. Francis. A family care physician, he joined Family Health West in September 2018.
