Essentia Health names new regional COO: 3 things to know

Duluth, Minn.-based Essentia Health selected Bob Brigham as COO for the health system’s operations in northeastern Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin.

Here are three things to know:

1. Mr. Brigham most recently served as senior vice president for hospitals and clinics at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.

2. He also worked at Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic, serving in numerous roles such as nurse manager and operating room director.

3. He holds an MBA from the Jacksonville (Fla.) University Davis College of Business, where he is currently completing a doctorate in business administration.
