Erlanger picks Floyd Chasse as HR head: 3 things to know

Chattanooga, Tenn.-based Erlanger Health System has selected Floyd Chasse to serve as vice president of human resources, according to a Chattanooga Times Free Press report.

Here are three things to know about Mr. Chasse.

1. He was vice president of human resources at McLaren Greater Lansing in Lansing, Mich., a university-affiliated teaching hospital.

2. During his tenure at McLaren, Mr. Chasse was responsible for directing the human resources division, volunteer services, as well as environmental and dietary services, according to the report.

3. Erlanger President and CEO Kevin M. Spiegel said of Mr. Chasse, “His broad knowledge base in personnel operations, specialized background in healthcare organizations and leadership roles with state HR associations will be invaluable as Erlanger continues to expand its workforce, focus on staff development, low turnover, customer satisfaction goals, training and recruitment efforts,” according to the Chattanooga Times Free Press.
