Lynn DeJaco has retired from her role as CFO of Chattanooga, Tenn.-based Erlanger, according to a March 24 LinkedIn post from the health system. Stephanie Gary has succeeded Ms. DeJaco.
Ms. DeJaco joined Erlanger as interim CFO in May 2021 before assuming the role permanently.
“[Ms. DeJaco’s] leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic helped guide us through one of the most challenging periods in healthcare,” the post said. “She also played a pivotal role in Erlanger’s transition from a governmental entity to a nonprofit hospital, strengthened our financial foundation, and transformed our financial decision-making process organization-wide.”
Prior to her new role, Ms. Gary served as senior vice president of financial operations and effectiveness for Erlanger, where she worked closely with Ms. DeJaco to prepare for the role transition.
