Nashville, Tenn.-based Envision Healthcare has promoted Carmen Pla to chief revenue officer.
Ms. Pla previously served as the medical group’s senior vice president of revenue cycle operations, according to a May 22 Envision news release. She assumed her new role on April 28.
Before joining Envision, she served as national vice president of revenue cycle services at Pediatrix Medical Group. She also served as vice president of revenue cycle at R1 RCM and as vice president of revenue cycle at Miami-based Jackson Health System.
“Carmen possesses exceptional experience in revenue cycle management and strong leadership skills,” Envision President and CEO Jason Owen said in the release. “Her expertise and steady guidance have been evident during her three years at Envision, and it has been a privilege to work more closely with her.”
