EMHS Names Kyle Johnson CIO

Eastern Maine Healthcare System in Bangor has named Kyle Johnson vice president and CIO, effective March 31.

Ms. Johnson currently serves as vice president, chief analytics and integration officer of Trinity Health/CHE in Livonia, Mich. In her new role, she will use her clinical informatics background to help EMHS develop new, innovative care delivery models.

“She will build upon EMHS’ success in transitioning from a volume-based to value-based reimbursement model by developing supporting technologies and integrated systems to achieve the triple aim: better care for patients, better health for populations and lower per capita costs,” said M. Michelle Hood, CEO of EMHS, in a news release.
