Dr. Kitch most recently served as vice chair of medicine and chief of pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine at North Shore Medical Center in Salem, Mass. He also served as program director of the hospital’s internal medicine residency program.
Dr. Kitch previously served as an associate physician in the pulmonary and critical care division at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and a senior research scientist in the Institute for Health Policy at Massachusetts General Hospital, both based in Boston.
Dr. Kitch co-chaired the Critical Care Collaborative and the Sepsis Work Group for Boston-based Partners HealthCare, North Shore Medical Center’s parent.
