Ellwood City Hospital appoints Beverly Annarumo president: 4 notes

Ellwood City (Pa.) Hospital selected Beverly Annarumo to serve as president, according to an Ellwood City Ledger report.

1. Most recently, Ms. Annarumo served as chief quality officer of the hospital.

2. She has been with Ellwood City Hospital for five years, prior to which she worked at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

3. Among Ms. Annarumo’s new responsibilities as president, she will lead Ellwood City Hospital through its merger with Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Americore Health.

4. She succeeds Carolyn Izzo, who is retiring.
