Elkhart General Hospital names Carl Risk president

Elkhart (Ind.) General Hospital, a part of South Bend, Ind.-based Beacon Health System, named Carl Risk II president, according to a South Bend Tribune report. Mr. Risk most recently served as lead administrator at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital in North Vernon, Ind.

With more than 17 years of healthcare leadership experience, Mr. Risk has previously served as vice president of planning and then vice president of clinical services at King’s Daughters’ Hospital and Health Services in Madison, Ind.

Mr. Risk is a board member of the Indiana Hospital Association, and has earned a master’s degree in health administration from Indiana University-Purdue University in Indianapolis, according to the report.
