1. Mr. Woods is currently president and CEO of WellStar Kennestone Regional Medical Center in Marietta, Ga.
2. Prior to that, he was senior vice president at Verras Healthcare, a healthcare consulting firm.
3. His previous roles also include serving as vice president of operations at Chicago-based Northwestern Medicine and vice president at University of Chicago Medicine.
4. He is the permanent successor to Tomi Ryba. The hospital’s board unanimously voted not to renew Ms. Ryba’s five-contract at a meeting in August 2016.
