Ms. Pizzino joined the health system in 2006, and since then has been working in a management capacity in the system’s IT department. One of her most recent accomplishments is overseeing the implementation of an electronic medical record system for the system’s emergency department staff and physicians.
“Mary has been a valuable asset in our organization,” Norma Jean Morgan, CEO of Effingham Health System, told the Savannah Morning News. “Her efforts and expertise have allowed us to reach heights not often attained by smaller hospitals. We know how fortunate we are to have such a quality executive at our facility.”
