Elon Kotlar, MD, has been named chief health informatics officer at Greenville, N.C.-based ECU Health.
In this role, Dr. Kotlar will oversee the health system’s informatics strategy focusing on advancing the use of clinical informatics, analytics, artificial intelligence, and digital and virtual health, according to a Sept. 25 LinkedIn post from ECU Health.
Prior to this, Dr. Kotlar served as the associate chief medical information officer at Philadelphia-based Jefferson Health.
