Timothy Babineau, MD, who joined ECG Management Consultants as a principal in 2023, is now the firm’s chief physician adviser.
Dr. Babineau began the new role in January and will continue advising hospital leaders on areas such as operations, strategy, physician alignment, and margin improvement.
Prior to joining ECG, Dr. Babineau served for 10 years as president and CEO of a Rhode Island–based health system. He also previously served as president of Rhode Island Hospital, Hasbro Children’s Hospital, and the Miriam Hospital, all in Providence.
Dr. Babineau has repeatedly been listed as a Top Surgeon by the Consumers’ Research Council of America, a Top Doctor in America by Boston Consumers’ Checkbook, and is a five-time honoree on Becker’s Physician Leaders to Know list.
